The Iame platoon conquers a podium also at the final round of the WSK Euro Series
Nothing less than 32 IAME drivers are present in Genk, Belgium, for the final round of the WSK Euro Series. Hajek conquers a great podium in KZ1. Alessio Lorandi is a protagonist all week end long though unlucky in the Final.

17 IAME drivers in the class for youngers. Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart/Parilla) is, as usual, one of the stars: he scores the 7th lap time in the Super Pole, he wins one heat and adds two 2nd places and a 7th . In the Pre Final he starts and arrives 3rd, demonstrating both the driver and his equipment are there among the best. Too bad the Final is a bitter one and he slips back to the 17th place. The unfortunate result is not enough to compromise his wonderful championship and the Baby Race drivers finishes with a well earned 2nd place in the overall ranking. Some more difficulties for his brother Leonardo: the 3rd place in the Super Pole is promising, but following swinging heats, he can only achieve the 12th spot on the grid of the Pre Final. Here he finishes 27th, so unfortunately out of the 17 allowed to the Final. Van Leeuwen (Zanardi/Parilla) is constant all week end long: 10th after the time qualifying and the Super Pole, he is always in the Top Ten along the heats. He finishes the Pre-Final and the Final in 9th place and confirms his 10th position in the overall standing of the series. Among the others, also Andrei Vajda (Tony Kart/Parilla) lives a good week end, beside his 62nd position after the heats, he finishes 16th in the Pre Final and 22nd in the Final. Maxime Potty (Kosmic/Parilla) and Marino Sato (Praga/Parilla), are in the Final and respectively finish 26th and 34th.

Among the 11 IAME drivers at the start, good performance for Palau (CRG/Parilla) and Compere (Kosmic/Parilla). In the heats the Spanish driver is three times 8th and once 7th, finishing the Pre Final in 28th position and well recovering in the Final up to the 14th place. The Englishman races less brilliant heats, but in the Final he conquers a good 15th place. A swinging week end for Joyner (Zanardi/Parilla): 31th after the heats, he races two fantastic heats with twice the 4th place and qualifying 12th after the count of the penalties. After the 15th place in the Pre Final he gets a ten seconds penalty and is downgraded, and in the Final he gets stocked in the group and early leaves the race. Felice Tiene (CRG/Parilla) cant find his pace, twice 20th and twice 4th in the heats. In the Final he cant go over the 26th position but confirms his 6th place in the general ranking of the series.

Patrik Hajek (Praga/Parilla) is one among the absolute protagonists. 9th in the time qualifying, on Saturday he steps into an unfortunate heat with only the 16th place. In the following heat though he promptly recovers and finishes 7th, gaining 9 positions. His recovery goes along Final 1 where, from the 12th place, he crosses the finish line in 7th place. The Praga drivers gets wild on Sunday: 4th and 2nd in the heats, he then finishes the Final on the third step of the podium, with an 8th place in the overall standing of the series. Good performance also from Jordon Lennox-Lamb (CRG/Parilla), besides being knocked out from Final 1 on Saturday, he well recovers on Sundays Final 2 and finishes 7th. He is 10th in the overall standing of the championship.

Cunati (Top Kart/Parilla) is the best among the IAME drivers, 8th place in Final 1 and 13th in Final 2. During the week end, also Maxa (Praga/Parilla) shows his value and demonstrate to be able to compete among the best. After Saturdays heats he is 4th, but unfortunately leaves the Final after few laps. On Sunday he ascends to the 8th position, but again he is forced to leave the Final.
