CIK-FIA European Championship & WSK Euro Series - Energy Collects Successes
In less than 10 days, at the end of July, the Zuera circuit brought a long series of podiums, victories and titles to the Energy team, both at the WSK Euro Series and at the CIK-FIA European KF2-KF3 Championships. Considering the many other successes gleaned since the start of the year, Energy Corse is definitely the most effective team in 2011, since none of the other structures can boast such a list of achievements at international level in a half season.

Energy Corse knows the meaning of the word "team". Within the structure skilfully managed by Michele Panigada, nothing is left to chance. Equipment is always perfectly prepared, but the human factor is not forgotten either. It remains a key element for success, as explained by the boss "Kart drivers are often very young and really need to be supported and advised at best. Energy is there to get them on the right track and help them manage their races at best. We have the necessary detachment, competence and experience to help them progress and win".
European KF2 Champion
Sami Luka lived 10 intense days in Spain. He conquered the European KF2 Championship and then was on the podium again at the WSK Euro Series, which allowed him to take the second place in the general classification. The first words of the Belgian driver were for his team. "We have made a lot of work since the beginning of the season. The team and I have always done the maximum to keep the equipment at the top. We were definitely ready for the big day. Though I benefited from a penalty inflicted to the leader for early start, I sincerely think we had the best technical solution in Zuera. During the final of the European Championship, I lost time in the pack, but then I could drive at a very fast and very regular pace, and my tyres remained in excellent conditions until the end".
Sami Luka confirmed his excellent form at the final of the WSK Euro Series. "I was 4th in the Championship classification before the Spanish round, and I have concluded as vice Champion. It's great! A big thank you to the Energy team as well as to GKS for its high-performance TM engines".

KF3: Competitive at Each Race
Since the start of this season, the Norwegian Dennis Olsen and the Swedish Robin Hansson have been among the best performers in KF3. Making the podium has become a sort of habit for them. In June, Olsen also won the CIK/FIA Viking Trophy ahead of his team mate Hansson. Member of the Energy Norway team, Cedrik Fonn Skare secured a fantastic triple success for the Italian make. Olsen conquered another success at the third round of the WSK Euro Series, at La Conca, and seemed determined to replicate Energy Corse's high level of performance at the European Championship. Unfortunately, at the start of the pre-final, when he was the leader after the qualifying phase, he made a mistake with heavy consequences. It was Robin Hansson who entered the lead pack and became vice European Champion KF3 after a flawless drive. As for Olsen, who started past the 30th place, he put in a stunning recovery drive to 7th place. Moreover, he was third in the final classification of the WSK Euro Series.

Johansson, Champion in KZ2
Six weeks after Kenneth Ostvold's victory (Energy Norway team) at the CIK/FIA Viking Trophy, Energy conquered another title in KZ2 thanks to Joel Johansson's success at the WSK Euro Series. "A WSK crown means a lot in the career of a driver. And we made it because our team has always been competitive - I was on the podium four times out of four -" the Swedish driver commented. After the European KZ1 title won by Paolo De Conto, Energy Corse remains more than ever a reference for the 125cc gearbox categories. Second in KF2 and KF3, Energy also won the Eurocup (WSK Euro Series teams' classification) in KZ2.
